Recent fluctuations in international air freight rates from Nanjing are expected to impact shipping costs during the upcoming summer peak season. Updated pricing data reveals new rates for several key international routes departing from the Chinese transportation hub.
The Nanjing to Bangalore route (NKG-PVG-AUH-BLR), operated by Etihad Airways (EY), now lists a standard cargo rate of 46.0 CNY per kilogram for shipments weighing between 22.0 to 25.0 kilograms. These rates are valid for shipments on July 16, 2025.
Similarly, the Nanjing to Karachi route shows a revised rate of 49.0 CNY per kilogram, applicable to cargo weighing 23.0 to 28.0 kilograms on the same date. The Nanjing to Muscat route also carries a 49.0 CNY per kilogram rate for shipments between 26.0 to 27.0 kilograms.
Industry analysts note that these pricing adjustments reflect typical seasonal variations combined with current market conditions. The summer months traditionally see increased demand for air cargo capacity as manufacturers accelerate shipments ahead of the fall retail season.
These published rates serve as reference points only, and logistics professionals recommend contacting carrier representatives directly to confirm final booking prices and specific terms. Additional variables including fuel surcharges, security fees, and handling costs may affect the total shipping expense.
