CAR Customs Reforms Supply Chains Amid Global Crisis
To ensure the smooth flow of humanitarian aid and national supply chain stability, the Central African Republic's customs authority has implemented five core measures. These include duty-free clearance and expedited release for relief supplies, a suspension of tax increases, optimized logistics coordination for air and land transport, and strengthened internal anti-epidemic rotation protocols. Through these initiatives, the customs department effectively balances the urgent need for humanitarian assistance with the maintenance of national supply chain resilience and public health safety amidst the ongoing challenges.
