In terms of terminal infrastructure, Kaohsiung Port features 121 berths with a combined length reaching 27,788 meters, capable of simultaneously berthing 152 ships—a testament to its exceptional service capabilities. Managed and operated by Kaohsiung Port Branch under Taiwan International Ports Corporation (TIPC), the port ensures both efficiency and safety in its operations.
Furthermore, in 2014, Kaohsiung Port achieved EcoPorts certification—the first port in the Asia-Pacific region to receive this prestigious recognition for environmental sustainability. This accomplishment not only elevated Kaohsiung Port's global reputation but also underscored its unwavering commitment to sustainable development and environmental protection.
