The port's foreign trade container volume reached 334,000 TEUs, showing a more substantial growth of 7.8% compared to the same period last year.
The port's container business has transformed from relying solely on the Zhapu Port Area to developing a "twin-engine" growth pattern with both Zhapu and the newly operational Dushan Port Area. Since its official launch, Dushan Port has implemented several measures including increasing the frequency of its "Dushan Express" service, expanding market reach, and attracting more shipping companies. These efforts contributed to the port area handling 148,500 TEUs this year, representing an impressive 76.8% growth .
Notably, Jiaxing Port has opened four inland container shipping routes connecting to Fuyang, Changxing, Shaoxing, and Deqing. The port's inland container throughput achieved over 100% growth during the same period, reaching nearly 30,000 TEUs. This performance demonstrates the port's strong momentum in modern development and regional connectivity.
