At the starting point of the ancient Silk Road, a modern logistics engine is gaining momentum. Xi'an, the historic capital of Shaanxi Province, is leveraging its strategic geographical advantages to attract logistics enterprises from across China and around the world.
The Xi'an Zhuhong Logistics Park , located in the Fengdong New District's Sanqiao area, has become a crucial platform for logistics industry upgrading in Northwest China. With its superior location and comprehensive facilities, the park is positioned to transform regional supply chain operations.
Strategic Location and Comprehensive Facilities
Spanning nearly 50 acres under state ownership, the logistics park benefits from unparalleled connectivity adjacent to the Houweizhai Interchange. Its extensive highway network provides seamless access to major transportation routes throughout the region.
The integrated facility combines multiple logistics functions including freight transportation, warehousing and distribution, information management, and vehicle services. Current infrastructure includes a 107,000-square-foot freight center and 645,000 square feet of warehouse space, complemented by extensive parking areas and complete supporting services.
Driving Regional Economic Growth
Park management emphasizes the facility's role in meeting growing e-commerce demands and evolving logistics requirements. The development plans to attract specialized logistics services including dedicated freight lines, transshipment operations, vehicle transport, and e-commerce fulfillment centers.
"Our goal is to create a mutually beneficial ecosystem that reduces operational costs while improving service efficiency," a park representative stated. The comprehensive support system for tenants aims to establish a new standard for logistics operations in the region.
Analysts suggest the Xi'an Zhuhong Logistics Park will significantly enhance supply chain capabilities across Northwest China while stimulating broader economic development. Its strategic position makes it a potential linchpin for east-west connectivity and a key node in the Belt and Road Initiative's overland routes.
