Fiji Enhances Border Security with Multiagency Cooperation
The Fiji Revenue and Customs Service (FRCS) has established a comprehensive border defense system by signing strategic cooperation agreements with key government agencies, including the police, navy, biosecurity authority, and the Ministry of Health. Through regular joint inspections and seamless information sharing, Fiji has significantly improved customs clearance efficiency while strengthening regulatory oversight in public health, biosecurity, and the combat against illicit trade. This initiative has successfully created an efficient and secure modern border management model.
