In a strategic move to strengthen its global logistics network, JD Logistics has launched a new direct cargo flight route connecting Wuhu, China to Hanoi, Vietnam. This marks the first direct air freight service between Wuhu City and Vietnam, representing a significant expansion in JD Logistics' international operations.
Enhanced Trade Connectivity
The new route leverages Wuhu's established logistics infrastructure to enable 2-4 hour delivery to major Chinese cities. Operating 2-3 weekly flights , each with a 20-ton capacity , the service dramatically improves trade efficiency between the two nations. The 3-hour flight time significantly reduces traditional shipping durations.
"This route creates a vital trade corridor," a JD Logistics spokesperson stated. "Chinese manufacturers can now rapidly export apparel, home appliances, and mechanical components from East and Central China to Vietnam, while Vietnamese specialties and handicrafts gain streamlined access to Chinese markets."
Global Network Expansion
The Wuhu-Hanoi route forms part of JD Logistics' Global Web Initiative , launched in December 2022 to establish worldwide warehouse networks, air cargo routes, and international express services. The ambitious program aims to achieve 2-3 day global delivery standards to meet growing international demand.
Industry analysts note this expansion comes as global e-commerce logistics competition intensifies, with major players racing to establish faster international shipping solutions. JD Logistics' move strengthens its position in Southeast Asia's rapidly growing markets while enhancing China's export capabilities.
The company's integrated logistics network continues to develop innovative trade models, bridging global supply chains and fostering international economic connectivity through efficient cargo management solutions.
