AD Ports Group has marked a significant milestone in its global expansion by establishing its first office in China, positioning itself to capitalize on the world's second-largest economy. The new base in the Beijing-Tianjin region will serve as a springboard for the Emirati logistics giant's investment and commercial activities across China and Asia.

The strategic location not only strengthens AD Ports' presence in the Chinese market but also creates a vital bridge to key partners, clients, and government agencies. This expansion comes as China's logistics sector is projected to grow at 4.6% annually through 2030 , presenting substantial opportunities for international players.

Noatum Logistics Takes Center Stage

The new office will primarily support the operations of Noatum Logistics, AD Ports' logistics division that will establish a commercial branch in the region. This move leverages the Beijing-Tianjin area's population of over 110 million while aligning with China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), which aims to connect trade routes across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.

Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Managing Director and Group CEO of AD Ports Group, emphasized the strategic importance: "Through our new Beijing office, we will collaborate more closely with Chinese partners to support the expansion of local, regional, and international trade corridors while delivering advanced maritime, infrastructure, and logistics solutions."

Building on Existing Partnerships

AD Ports Group has been cultivating Chinese partnerships through ventures like the Khalifa Port joint terminal project with China's COSCO Shipping Ports and Abu Dhabi's Jiangsu Overseas Cooperation and Investment Company (JOCIC). Additionally, numerous Chinese companies have established operations in KEZAD, the UAE's largest industrial zone operated by AD Ports Group.

The company plans to expand Noatum's end-to-end logistics services in China, aiming to become an indispensable link in regional supply chains. By combining its global logistics network with local market expertise, AD Ports seeks to create win-win scenarios in one of the world's fastest-growing logistics markets.

This expansion not only creates a gateway between China and the UAE but also demonstrates AD Ports Group's growing influence in global trade networks. As China continues to play a pivotal role in international commerce, the establishment of this office positions AD Ports to capitalize on emerging opportunities while supporting the flow of goods across continents.
